Situated between the Apennine Mountains and the Po River, the majority of the cities within the region of Emilia- Romgna follow the trail of the Via Emilia., the ancient road that begins in Piacenza and ends at the Adriatic coastline. Our tour aims to bring to life the treasures that are to be found in the north of a country that has played such a central role in the development of Europe and beyond throughout history. This is a five day tour based in Parma and we also visit Bologna, Modena and Mantua

We will travel as group from Bromley and fly to Italy from Gatwick airport. The tour is priced at £1,650 per person with a £205 single supplement, staying in a 5 star hotel in Parma.

Northumbrian Tour

Tuesday 10 th September to Saturday 14 th September 2024

In September we are off to Northumberland. We will have a luxury coach door to door from Bromley stopping on the way at Bakewell and Haddon Hall which sits on a rocky outcrop above the River Wye. Staying at a 4* hotel in the centre of Newcastle gives us easy access to cultural centres and restaurants. From there we will visit Alnwick Castle and garden, Lindisfarne and Holy Island and several more wonderful places Northumberland offers. We will be accompanied by an expert local guide. It is a good chance to see a wonderful part of Britain and to enjoy friendship from this welcoming society.
